Cowboy Horse Therapy | Good Works: Episode 3

Meet Larry "Thumper" Jones, a horse therapist in "the cowboy capital of the world," volunteering his time to rehab horses at Equine Athletes.

This week we visit Stephenville, Texas—the cowboy capital of the world—where horses in need are given a new purpose: providing therapeutic riding for people in the community with a variety of disabilities. One man who’s committed to making that happen is horse therapist Larry “Thumper” Jones who volunteers his time to steer the Tarleton Equine Assisted Therapy (TREAT) program at Equine Athletes. In addition to helping out around the facility, Jones makes good use of his 2011 Ford Super Duty® by transporting donated horses.
